About Us

Oregon Humane's Salem Campus is dedicated to improving the lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pets and people throughout Salem and the Mid-Willamette Valley. Formerly Willamette Humane Society, the Salem Campus became part of Oregon Humane in 2022, expanding access to animal welfare services while continuing its longstanding commitment to the local community.

Located on Turner Road SE, the Salem Campus provides pet adoption services, veterinary care, spay and neuter programs, animal rescue, and humane education. Through partnerships with local businesses, volunteers, donors, and community organizations, Oregon Humane helps animals find loving homes, supports responsible pet ownership, and assists animals facing neglect or abuse.

As an independent nonprofit funded by donations, Oregon Humane relies on community generosity and corporate partnerships to advance its mission. Businesses and individuals can make a meaningful difference through sponsorships, fundraising, volunteering, and charitable giving.

Together, Oregon Humane and the Salem community are creating brighter futures for animals and the people who love them
