About Us

Instruction Construction is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on workforce development for young adults, preparing them for careers in the construction and manufacturing industries through hands-on, skills-based training.

Our program combines practical instruction with real-world experience. Students learn tool safety, basic blueprint reading, and construction techniques by completing projects such as building sheds or tiny homes. They also receive foundational training in plumbing and electrical systems, along with instruction in both technical and professional (soft) skills essential to success in the workplace.

In partnership with industry experts, we introduce students to apprenticeship opportunities across a range of trades, including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, pipefitting, steamfitting, sheet metal, glazing, and general construction. We explore both union and non-union pathways and support students in strengthening their readiness to secure apprenticeships.

We welcome opportunities to collaborate with partners who share our commitment to building a skilled and job-ready workforce. Together, we can create meaningful pathways into high-demand careers and meet the growing needs of our industries.
