Sam is a longtime community leader in Salem, known for his deep commitment to neighborhood revitalization and supporting local youth and families. For more than two decades, he served as the Executive Director of Salem Leadership Foundation, where he helped launch and strengthen community-building initiatives across the city, often in partnership with schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations.
A champion of collaboration, Sam has played a key role in projects that uplift neighborhoods, including efforts in the Grant and Highland areas of Salem. He is well-recognized for his relational leadership style and his passion for helping people connect with opportunities to serve their community.
Whether he’s mentoring emerging leaders, working alongside grassroots organizers, or supporting local events at IKE Box and throughout the city, Sam continues to be a positive and inspiring force in Salem.
