Ribbon Cutting: Deepwood Museum & Gardens
The ribbon cutting is to officially reopen the historic lower Terrace and Arbor at Deepwood. The area was a beloved part of the gardens when Alice Brown Powell lived at the estate, but the arbor was taken down decades ago due to disrepair and the terrace had eroded over the decades as well. Thanks to historic photos, the area is now restored to it’s original beauty. The project was made possible thanks to an anonymous donor. Special thanks to the Lord & Schryver Conservancy for project and donor coordination. Please join us in celebrating this achievement!
