Business Advocacy: City of Salem's Safe, Clean, and Healthy Initiative, Paid Parking, Sign Codes, Downtown Bike Patrol & Transportation Special Session
At our Business Advocacy Meeting in October, we welcome City of Salem leaders and Salem Main Street Association Board Member TJ Sullivan to provide updates on several key areas, programs, and initiatives the City is involved in.
Join us to hear more about the City's new Safe, Clean, and Healthy Initiative, for an update on the City's Beep Beep Salem Paid Parking Program (which began this summer), and for information on current sign codes. We'll also hear about the latest effort by the local business community to support returning two downtown bicycle patrol officers to help engage the community in that area.
The meeting will also feature a Transportation Special Session debrief provided by the Salem Chamber's contracted lobbyist.
Speakers:
- Krishna Namburi, City of Salem Interim City Manager
- Kirstin Retherford, City of Salem Director of Community Planning and Development
- TJ Sullivan, Salem Main Street Association Board Member
- Additional staff members of the City's Community Planning and Development Department
- Nicole Palmateer Hazelbaker, Salem Chamber Lobbyist and Owner of Bravio Communications
